DESCRIPTION
In the late 1940s, art giant Henri Matisse, decided to “carve into colour” and so his spectacular “Papiers Découpés” series was born.
As a tribute to the modern master, we decided to re-interpret one of his best known “découpages”, the coral, into a wonderfully detailed and beautifully executed set of 4 embroidered napkins.
Our matching placemats include a hand-made hemstitch on the edge and mitred corners, for an effortlessly laid-back luxury finish.
Our 100% pure linen has a rich tradition in Polish history. Sky-blue blooming flax fields have been a landmark of Poland for centuries and linen fabrics used to be the showcase of this East European country.
This is an artisanal product, made of unique linen yarns and produced in small quantities. Thus, slight variations in size and colour are possible.
CARE >
Made from the fibres of the flax plant, linen has been cultivated and used as a textile for thousands of years, long before the existence of dry cleaners or detergents. In fact, it is such a natural, simple fabric that caring for it is simple too.
