In the late 1940s, art giant Henri Matisse, decided to “carve into colour” and so his spectacular “Papiers Découpés” series was born.
As a tribute to the modern master, we decided to re-interpret one of his best known “découpages”, the coral, into a wonderfully detailed and beautifully executed set of 8 embroidered cocktail napkins.
